This guide provides instructors with step-by-step instructions for using the libraries' course reserves platform.

How to Add an Resource via Manual Entry

  • To add a resource to your list via Manual Entry, click on + Add and select Manual entry:

  • Select item type from the drop-down list (e.g. Book), type or paste item title, and click on Next:

  • Type or paste any other details you have about the item (these are not required, but the more details you enter, the easier it will be for the library to identify your exact item/edition needed), and click on Next:

  • Finally, choose the section of your list you would like to add the item to, and click on Add:

The system will try to make a match with the library's holdings. If the library does not hold the item, you will be prompted to request a new purchase, if desired:

The item will be marked "Draft" or "Library Processing" once added to your list and will be made visible to students once the library processes your request (i.e. purchases your requested book, film, article, etc.):
