Request New Materials

Teachers College students, faculty, and staff may use the materials request form to request library materials not owned by Gottesman Libraries, or the Columbia Morningside Campus Libraries. Check out the Requesting New Materials page on the Gottesman website. You can also find information about Interlibrary Loan (ILL) here as well.

Information Sessions

Librarians are happy to visit your onsite or virtual classroom to share with your students information on the full range of key electronic and print resources available to them; on their means to request new materials not available through our Library or Columbia University Libraries; and on how best to deploy search strategies and techniques foundational to their academic work.

These sessions can be structured to focus on specific topics, issues, or resources, according to your preference, for whatever length of time best suits your needs. We are also happy to arrange virtual tours and orientation sessions at times alternative to your regular class meetings.

If you are interested in arranging an in-person or Zoom library information session, please complete and submit the Request a Library Information Session form, and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible.
