Finding Journals at Gottesman Libraries
- To find specific academic journals held by Gottesman Libraries, navigate to Educat+. At the top of the window, click the second tab over called "Journal Search." You can make a direct search, or browse by category on the left column.
Finding Journals at Columbia University Libraries
- If Gottesman Libraries does not have a particular journal, check Columbia Universities Libraries catalog, CLIO. You can search specifically for E-Journal Titles by using the link in the left side bar. This is particularly useful if access to certain years of a journal is not available through Gottesman Libraries.

- History of EducationHistory of Education is a UK-based journal that publishes original research in the history of education from all parts of the world. It is associated with the UK History of Education Society. Articles deal with formal and informal education, including – but not restricted to – the history of schooling at all levels, universities, youth movements, adult education, educational ideas and biography, educational reform, and the politics of education.
- Encounters in Theory and History of EducationEncounters in Theory and History of Education is an interdisciplinary, multi-lingual journal that serves as a forum to present and discuss the theory and history of education in a global space.
- History of Education QuarterlyHistory of Education Quarterly is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarship on the history of education. It is the official journal of the field's leading professional society in the United States, the History of Education Society, and has been published continuously since 1960.
- Journal of Urban HistoryFor over thirty years, the Journal of Urban History has provided scholars and professionals with the latest research, analyses, and discussion on the history of cities and urban societies throughout the world.

- Review of Educational ResearchThe Review of Educational Research (RER) publishes critical, integrative reviews of research literature bearing on education, including conceptualizations, interpretations, and syntheses of literature and scholarly work in a field broadly relevant to education and educational research.
- Review of Research in EducationReview of Research in Education (RRE), published annually, provides a forum for analytic research reviews on selected education topics of significance to the field. - Teachers College RecordThe Teachers College Record is a journal of research, analysis, and commentary in the field of education. It has been published continuously since 1900 by Teachers College, Columbia University.
