Internal Funding Opportunities for Students

Research Dissertation Grant
Matriculated doctoral students, on track to receive dissertation proposal approval by May 31, 2024, are eligible to apply for the Provost’s Research Dissertation Fellowship, which is managed by the Office of the Vice Dean for Research. The award is highly coveted among Teachers College doctoral candidates. Due to a rigorous selection process, only a handful of awards are bestowed each year. Recipients are awarded $6,000 for tuition, living, research, or travel expenses.
Dean's Grant for Student Research
Matriculated TC students enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program are eligible to apply for the Dean's Grant for Student Research which awards up to $2,000 for outstanding projects.

Research@TC, a coordinated effort by the offices at Teachers College that provides research support for faculty, research staff and students, provides a list of internal opportunities for faculty including grant-writing funds and internal awards.
